Milwaukee Area Carpet Cleaning

What To Expect

How to Prepare for your cleaning – Here are some suggestions that will help you prepare for your cleaning:

Before we arrive:

  1. Be sure to communicate any cleaning concerns when scheduling your appointment – especially pet concerns. Remember that pet odors such as urine may require additional treatment or the odor could be increased after cleaning.
  2. Please remove all smaller items such as dining room chairs, toys, magazine racks, floor plants, etc. from any areas that are going to be cleaned. This will shorten the processing time and return the carpet to normal sooner.
  3. Please remove ALL items from any furniture that you would like moved** and as a precaution, remove/move any fragile or breakable items in the rooms we will be cleaning.
**If a room is listed as TPO, it reflects a discounted price to go around all the furniture – (Sorry, the technicians will not be able to move any items with this discounted price). If you would like furniture moved in that room, please discuss it with our office team before the cleaning or our technicians and they can adjust (increase) the pricing.
  4. Some furniture cannot be moved and will be cleaned around (ex: beds, dressers, power reclining sofas, sectional or sleeper sofas, entertainment centers, computer equipment, armoires, antique & fragile furniture). However, we may be able to reach under a little or will clean around the base(s).
  5. If desired, pin up any full length draperies so that they will be at least 6 inches off the floor. You may also want to pin up any skirts on upholstered furniture.
  6. Our technicians will call when they are on the way, so please be sure to let our office staff know the best phone number to call. Remember, our normal scheduling is a 2 hour arrival window. Our technicians will arrive sometime during those 2 hours.

When we arrive/ While on site:

  1. During the pre-inspection walkthrough with your technicians, please advise them of any special instructions to follow when moving your furniture. It is helpful to know about weak legs, loose tops or pre-existing conditions or repairs.
  2. Please point out any spots or stains which may require special cleaning techniques.
  3. For safety sake, be sure to keep a very close eye on your curious little ones.
  4. During the post inspection, please let our technician know if you have any questions or concerns about the cleaning. We want to be sure that you are 100% satisfied before we leave.
  5. We recommend that you do not place any furnishings back onto cleaned carpet for at least 24 hours (unless placed on protective foil/plastic).
  6. For Best Results/most efficient dry times – We recommend that the temperature in the home is set at 68 – 70 degrees throughout the cleaning (set air conditioning to low 70s or heat to 68 degrees) until all areas are dry. Also, running ceiling fans or the blower on the furnace helps speed up the drying process.
  7. Payment is due at the time of service. You can pay the technician directly with Mastercard, Visa, Discover, personal check or cash (our technicians cannot give change).

Area Rug Cleaning – On Site (in home) or In Shop *please ask for more details, if interested

Area rugs are priced based on the size (sq ft) and the fiber (see below). In home cleaning is a light topical cleaning – a “freshening up” of the area rug. We can only clean with light mist/no scrubbing. We cannot care for heavy spots, any pet urine, fringes, etc. We prefer to clean area rugs on a hard surface (tile or linoleum). There are some fiber types that we CANNOT clean in your home due to their need for a controlled cleaning/drying environment. (Any area rug that contains Viscose, Rayon, Sisal, Jute).

Fiber of Rug – this can be found on the rug tag; *If a rug contains blended fibers, the rug is priced at the higher price.

  • Standard – Polyester, Nylon, Polypropylene, Specialty – Wool, Cotton, Linen, Braided.
  • Premium – Viscose, Rayon, Sisal, Jute, Silk **Note – if a rug contains even a small % of these fibers, the entire rug is priced at this level and MUST BE CLEANED in our SHOP.
  • Urine Treatment – if urine is detected on the area rug, there is an additional charge for treatment. This can only be done with in our shop (not in the home).
